The welds are fine, but any stainless steel doesn't like being hot and cold, so the weaker grade used will defiantly dislike it.
Wrap the manifold with exhaust wrap, this will help keep the chill of the water from the stainless.

Still the only 'converted' Lupo I've seen pull off that 3L front end, plenty imitated but still haven't seen one as nice
Most of them he built

Wow!
You forget just how much work has gone into this car over the years.
-
Thats ****e.

A tip is to hold the "home" button when you want to close an APP.
It closes it properly and not just minimize it.
Thanks
I didnt know that.

The Sport isnt a GT in this country either, but no one complains if a Sport owner uses it.
-
plans sound alright, keep it updated. one thing I would suggest is to ditch the GT badge, it's a 1.4s and has 75bhp, its by no means on par with a golf GT sport so that badge has no relevance at all...
The Sport was known as the GT in Europe.
Theres nothing wrong with using a rare badge on something similar.
Better than a Sticker don't you think?
-
Its a GT badge, I was going to use one on my 1.0 after I fitted a 75hp 1.4 engine.
Dont listen to them, its your car dude.
Glad to see theres gonna be a car thats not going to be lowered with some stretched tyres like ever other Bugger these days!
-
Do this to a perfectly good looking little Lupo and you will be shot repeatedly in the face with an assault rifle at point blank range kapeesh ?!!
My car has most of the above.
FFS whats with all the negitivity?
-
Thats ****, glad its not caused any damage
-
Very nice!

This is fascinating, although I feel this may be the start of the end for the current Boy's Club which is the F1 senior management, teams and governing bodies.
Its ready for a change.
Bernie & Max.
I bet they both new about it before it was leaked (I think Renault would have spoken to Bernie as Bernie has as much to lose as Renault has), Things that big effect everyone who is involved in the Sport.
Especially large companies/banks who trade under there name, and will not allow it to be associated with a Team, or even Sport that has been caught for what is, an obvious set up.
Renault were struggling last year, they needed a win.
The team needed the win, to save from Renault selling up.
700 people apparently.
Rubbish!
I refuse to believe that Renault have 700 people working on a F1 team!

but if they cant pull people into the hard shoulder, who will us law abiding drivers have to point and laugh at for the **** that was speeding?
I agree.
Its crazy, it is not safe to sit in the back seat of a Evo that is parked behind my 1990's Polo that has my wife and daughter also put into danger.
The Police I have spoken too agrees that only serious cases should need to be dealt with on the side of some of the most dangerous roads in Europe.

Cheap car that.
Wouldn't cost much to tidy that up.
Mechanically it should be spot on.
Get it inspected by the local VOSA inspector and if it is straight, and hasn't been messed with with a dodgy identity then theres nothing wrong with a cheap Cat C car.
This was a Cat C.
I know the guy who repaired it, his was Cat C because the air bag had gone on the passenger side, and the N/S chassis leg was bent but was put on a jig and pulled straight.
The dash and airbag was too expensive to make it worthwhile for an insurance company who have to use new genuine parts

Hi there!
I stole my Lupo from my wife after we bought it new and fell in love with it lol

You're thinking about a job... once a project is finished it becomes an advert in the classifieds
-
Pete loves a project more than he does finishing any of them Im sure.
I don't know how he sleeps at night
-
so still another 8 weeks at least id guess..
I'll be down as soon as I can to help increase this to 16 week lol
-
Fran, as soon as its done it will be party central!
-
Love them
-
This was my favorite job so far though, up on the roof to pull out the unused gas flu from the chimney
Just a shame you've ruined the projector screenJust moved it across the wall to a bigger wall
-
The back room used to be the kitchen, got a really nice Oak table and chairs for in there, thinking about putting the iMac in there as well
Took all the plaster off, and found that the back wall used to be an outhouse so wasn't brilliant so we have cement rendered it to help tie it all together, built a timber false wall to cover the pipes, this will be tiled with the slate tiles I've used in the bathroom.
-
The living room.
Desicded to pull off the plaster around the chmney and found some lovely features so descided to open it up to give a nice big open fire.
Will get some better pics once I can find the charger for my camera lol

Just uploading some more pics...
