What's the best way to get these fittings out? Just bosh them out with a Screwdriver? -
Sweet car mate! Nice idea of wrapping the door pillars and the top of the boot door. My door pillars are going slightly rusty in the corners. Could do with doing mine.
-
That's exactly how I want mine Koop. Either with the red fabric or maybe a black one. Took your advice idinsab, Worked a treat! Cheers pal. Rightio, Armed with my mums hair dryer, AutoGlym Tar and Glue, T-cut and a few microfibre cloths to hand I set to the task of de-badging! Not had a go at the bump strips yet as I didn't know what to expect ! =o And I also whipped the rear wiper off, the the water jet didn't want to work anyways so I attacked it with some spanners. Stuck a 25mm gromit in the remaining hole. Oh, And I found Brian the snail from that cartoon, Magic Roundabout. Why not cable tie him onto my tow bar. Anyway, Here's how she Turned out... You can still see the faint 'Seat' and 'Arosa' where the badges were. Any ideas how to blend it in more?
-
Ahhh I'm already looking forward to the pain. -__- But it'll be worth it! Might tackle It after work then I can imagine it's goner take longer than half an hour ;D Cheers for the Tips mucker ! I'll post up some pictures of how it goes

Nice one, Are they Banded steels?
-
Ahhhh, Crap. What do you recommend? a sponge & warm water? xD
-
Ahhh, Sound. I know what I'll be doing in my dinner break tomorrow =D Does the sticky bonding come of pretty easy or should I prepare for some hard graft?
-
Got a badgeless grill on order pal. Goner have a go at fitting that when it arrives. Not 100% on taking the Strips and rear badges off though. I want to take them off but I'm not sure. Will they have holes underneath or just that sticky bonding stuff?

Little Red Lulu.... Now spontaneous boot build! :D

Nice one ! Wish I had the spuds to do all this work to mine. Don't dare take any bump strips or badges off just in case I can't get the sodding sticky bonding stuff off. Ahhh, the shame! xD -
Aup guys, Just thought I would start a documentation on my newbie build. I've been driving since January this year and I bought a Seat Arosa MK1 So here she is as I bought her. The Pimpin' 90's interior. ---> Any tips or idea's would be appreciated! ;D

Purple isn't my colour, but it looks fair snazzy mate. Quite Pimpish xD I fancy re-trimming my MK1 Arosa as it's still got the original. It's covered in dirt and coffee stains from previous owners, Any tips on doing it?
-
Ahhh sod It. I shall let them have this victory! xD I've just PM'd Lupoboz about a price for a few, Prolly end up getting them from him. Now to find some fabric to wrap my door cards in and some adhesive to stick them on with. Heres how they look atm
-
Think they'll have them back after I've opened them?
-
Just got back from halfords. Bought a pack of clips... Too small. Went back in, bought some more... Too big. Ended up spending about £8. None fit. Just goner have to bide my time and get the proper ones. As for Future plans, I'll cross that valley when I come to it. Planning on this car lasting me another year or two hopefully. It's sitting on 13" Alloys that are curbed to buggery from the previous owners. So I'm not sure whether to either tidy them up or just get something slightly bigger.
