So the situation... Car wouldn't lock and assumed it was battery in fob. Changed the battery in the fob straight away, same symptoms, light flashes on keyfob when pressed but does nothing to the car. Interior light stays on as if the car hasn't recognised the door is shut. Locking modules are fine because they can lock the door by pressing the button. Before anyone says use the key to unlock it has handle blanks on it. Any idea what it could be such as a micro switch or sensor somewhere? Cheers, Jon

mine is an 04 plate. 72k on clock but fsh. tax and mot. interior retrim, air, audio, bbs rms, bmc induction,coilovers, spare bolts and dishes for bbs, exhaust. and id do a deal at 6000.
