  1. Didn't attend the show , as it was my sons birthday....drove through irchester and Poddington around 4 though and there were loads of friendly lupos about!!! :-)
  2. wow...you stopped to take a picture...well chuffed!!! Not up to show standards....the pot holes around here have killed my alloys, need a refurb...and still waiting for the insurance to repair the rear bumper after a shunt from a focus driver!
  3. I did see you in front , then go down Cambridge ...couldn't catch up to acknowledge you! I used to live in colwell road near the train station, moved to Higham now....your lupo was looking tidy :-)
  4. Was behind a slammed fantasia green with bucket seats, from irthlingborough to wellingborough...looked tidy!
  5. thanks for the replies...will let you know how it turns out when the job is done! :-)
  6. Hmmm...mine was resprayed a few years back and it's spot on to the original paint...I've compared it to another fantasia green that's been resprayed and theirs is a slightly darker shade...I'm going through the insurance company. Would they have to respray other panels to get the colour to blend ok? As the car was absolutely mint when I bought it several months back
  7. And to start my weekend off...one dozy ford focus driver to drive into me, while I give way to on coming traffic please! :-( Does anyone know how easy it is to colour match fantasia green? As the rear bumper will need to ne replaced and painted. I've previously purchased some touch up paint from halfrauds and it's not an exact match...would a repainted bumper be that obvious if the shade was slightly different???
  8. i'm in and around w'boro must days...I'll keep an eye out for you
  9. The fantasia green is mine...there's also a nice white sport running on green teledials about...it's usually parked up at one of the garages along northampton rd.
  10. it looks like silencer packing.
  11. yep, that's the one! do you live down queensway?...i'm sure I saw it just parked off shelly road
  12. I recently purchased a new flip key from ebay, as I wanted a second flip key/remote instead of having the spare key being the standard key with the transponder in. The fob looks the same but differs from my existing flipkey, in that it pulls apart and has a single screw holding the top half together - where as mine has 2 screws holding the battery part and 2 holding the top half together. Also the transponder is a "pill" type shape, and the transponders in my 2 keys are rectangular "blocks". I swapped over the transponder from my standard key and put it into the new fob. now this is the part i'm stuck on, as firstly the car has been delocked - the guide states that the key has to manually lock the car...I've tried by locking with the lock/unlock switch but to no avail. would it be because the fob signal is 434mhz? I have no idea what my existing fob signal is as there are no markings on it! This might be a dumb question - but I did read on some forum page that though the signals differ slightly, that they should still operate...or is this complete bs??? Cheers in advance for any replies
  13. Spotted a red lupo driving into sainsburys petrol station Monday afternoon....looked sweet!!!
  14. Spotted yellow lupo in HighamFerrers, heading towards Irthlingborough...looked LOW!!!
  15. Hi...after deciding to down size from my millenium puma, I purchased a fantasia green lupo. Loved the drive, but it was slammed and not practical as an every day drive. I was going to have the coil overs highered at the local vw garage...then noticed The Pea for sale on Volkszone....so decided to part wit my cash!!! Sooooo, currently I've 2 fantasia green lupo 1.4,s and a puma. I've decided to sell the puma, sorn the 2nd lupo and take my time bringing it up to scratch. I'm not too technically minded, so might be asking some dumb questions now and again!
