    some people really are the lowest of the low . and id be saying to the garage i want a real good price on the gearbox now. and i bet the robbers got a shock of there lives when they got to that speedbump. :shifty: hope the car is sorted soon though . and its back on the road . and ill look out for you next time im out and about . :thumbup:

    so havent updated this in a while ... then last weekend my gearbox went so i gave the car to my local garage on sunday night...... tuesday morning they gave me a call asking 'when i was dropping the car off?' at which point i went ****ing skitz because then they told me that they had been broken into and my car keys stolen along wiht my car..... so whilst i was claiming my car stolen my work collegue rung me and asked me why my car is parked outside of his house.... so i raged it there in my mates car turns out they drove it all of 1 mile in first gear (the only gear that worked at the time) and had ditched it but in the mean while ripped off the front bumper on a speedbump somewhere in colchester.. dented the door ****ed the boot ..ripped out all my sound system including cables... took all my cleaning gear .... so yeah pretty pissed going through the garage's insurance! sweeettttt

    oh and most of all they stole my ash tray with a grand total of 25p in it.....lovely persons

    ive seen steez's lupo and i came down to a ecd meet in my mates polo. but now im driving flash red lupo slammed on black ra's .the only other loop ive seen is a bright green one modified to **** with a full face bonet bra !

    quick update :)

    coilovers on backs adjusters taken out.. fronts got another 30mm to drop down... sound system channgeeddd.. ermmmm stickers removed (mojoritiy of them) cleaned every day aswelll:P

    Straight fit mate. I think mine are the ET38 ones so they are fine. Centre bore is a little big, but mine came with spigot rings to make them the correct size. However they are not too important. I'm now using 20mm spacers at the rear and soon to be the same at the front, however will need a tad of arch rolling. Without spacers they are fine, i was using 10mm for a while too and had no problems at all.

    cheers man ohhh your the one with the blue lupo with the stickers on the bumper right? thats noicee! and i wasnt parked i was broken down :( my alternator went but im back on the road now :) i went to the last meet. if i see you out and about ill honk ya! haha

    so it was my first day of driving yesterday .. was all going well when my car started cutting out .. so i thought id replace the battery cause it had been sitting still for a couple months problems were expected.. so put a brand new battery init and all was going well for about a couple hours.... thenn it cut out in the middle of a roundabout.. luckily i werent on my own and had peeople push e out the way.. but it just wouldnt even turn over unless we just started it then it would run happily for about 10 minutes and cut out again.. so we had a look under the bonet everything seemed ok then. we decided to bump start it and that work fine... until i went to turn my lights on then it all just cut out again.... so we bump started it and drove it all the way across colchester in pitch black with no lights on...so its now sitting outside my house with not a ****ing clue what im going to do so i need help pleaseee?!!!!!!

    Have a good holiday, and good luck with your test in May :thumbup:

    Save some holiday money for when you get back, as unless those plates are for show use your risking a £60 fixed penalty from the feds

    My mate Cal had the same style plates on his GTi and got 2 fines in 3 weeks £120 down the pan just for its looks :rant:
