So my lupo hasn't got the wrong clutch pedal? its supposed to just sit there and not do anything mechanical.

Hi, Sorry for this being a dull first post, I've just picked up a Lupo sdi for a winter hack and found my way here when searching advice on replacing door hinges. Thats now sorted but when putting the dash panels back on I noticed a switch much like the brake light switch but it doesn't seem to do anything...There isn't anything on the cluch pedal to push the end in. Can anyone tell me what its for?? Cheers
