Hi there, My 53 plate Lupo has recently started making a horrible rattling noise when I accelerate. When the engine is cool the problem doesn't seem to happen but after 5 mins driving there is a grinding/rattling noise that seems to come from somewhere around the passenger side when I put my foot down. The sound is worse when I accelerate hard and doesn't tend to happen if I don't put my foot down too quickly. The car is also making an odd noise when I start it. It sounds like I am holding the key for too long although I'm certain I'm not. I've had some bad experiences with garages ripping me off so if anyone has any idea what either of these issues may be I would be very grateful. I'm based in Portsmouth and looking for a reliable garage to take the car to so any suggestions would be very welcome! Thanks in advance!
