  1. Personally I'm a bit protective of my mobile number, but would have no problem popping it on the name card in the photo?

Another forum I was on was "scraped" and all e-mail addresses and phone numbers received very high levels of spam.

I absolutely understand the reasoning behind the changes, and to be honest welcome them. I haven't sold anything on here, but have bought a fair few bits and bobs. So far I've not encountered anything but other genuine club members :-)

  2. 6N2 physically slot in, BUT, the legs are a narrower diameter and they don't grip in position very well. The pair with the curved legs work best in the front seats, and also if used in the rear sit flat with top of seats. The pair with straight legs are useless in front and sit up an inch or so in rear.

I can get you pics if you want though one of them is stripped down at the minute as I was looking at a leg swap, but it isn't going to work.

  3. Im not going to comment on if i think this is true or not but if anyone wondered this is a link to a tyre chart showing what you can and cant run on different wheels

    http://www.tyres-pne...les-advice.html

    Hope that helps people out

Yeah, but that chart says that you can only go minimum 175 on a 6j rim.

Like I said previously you can't just look at the width, you need to look at the individual tyre specs e.g. Toyo Proxes CF1 165/60 R14 are specced to be fitted to wheels from 4.5-6 inches wide.

Toyo are handy to look at as they publish the specifications on the website.

I don't run stretch personally, but think there is a lot of bs talked about it.

  4. full beam lights up the distance but not what's right in front of me? had this problem with the standard bulbs too :(

That is how they are designed to work :-/ Hence the other name for them of "High beam"

To use full beam you should be alone on a road and are likely to be going quite quickly (country roads, a roads, motorway). You should be looking in the distance, not right in front of you.

  5. Not seen this one on the forum yet? Does it belong to a lurker on here?

Parked up opposite the jet garage.

This weekend I saw a load of Lupos on my travels. A yellow one on black sport alloys in Kelty. Blue one at roundabout at Antonshill. A yellow Sport at Stirling.

On another forum I was a member of they got cards done up so if you saw a nice motor that fitted in with the forum you could card them. That doesn't happen here does it?
