  1. After reading the "definitive Pedal Box" thread, I am 99% sure that mine is on its way out, so it needs to be changed sooner rather than later. I phoned my local VW dealer today and explained everything and mentioned that it was a common fault etc but it got me no where. I then decided to phone VW customer care and after practically arguing with the guy that it was a manufactoring fault he kept telling me that its because the car is 10 years old and that it would probably be due to its age. I was just wondering if anyone has had their pedal box changed in the last year and if they recevied any money off from VW? Thanks for your help, Ben
  2. I looked into the pedal box thread and ive got all of the symptoms that are listed. The clutch pedal is a fair bit lower than the brake. Thanks for your help!
  3. Hello everyone! Ive just got my hands on my first car, my Silver VW lupo 1.0. I have had the car for about 2 and a half months and its running great, the only problem ive got is that its difficult to get into gear when changing down. When i start driving its fine it only happens after a few miles of driving. It crunches like a mad man in reverse but i guess thats because the gear is straight cut and has no synchro?. I just wanted to know if you guys had any idea's what could be causing it?, The car has done 77,000 miles so the clutch is due for a change, and its a 51 plate. Thanks for your help!, Ben P.s - Where can i get some Club Lupo stickers from?
