  1. The buyer said dhe asked her dealer and they said it is not an issue on pre-2000 models. I'm think the dealers are fobbing us off. VW dealer I know aren'r great, my parents had problems with them with our current car. Mike
  2. Get this, My local dealer in Farnham, near Guildford, said he's never heard of the pedal boxes go a Lupo but he said it was common and dealers fix them for free on Polo's. Any thoughts? Mike
  3. Thanks that's a help! It's only 21 000 miles and i'll check the pedal mounts. I had pedals brake off on my parents old car (Renault), they were plastic. Is it a similar case and they changed them to stronger ones? Mike
  4. Dear all, I'm considering buying 1.4 16v lupo 2000 reg. Does anyone have advice of what to look out for? any recalls/problems? I've heard about clutch and gear box problems.
