  1. High offset will tuck low will poke. Standard is around 35-42mm, so if you want more poke look for lower than that, around ET25 would probably be the limit with a bit of stretch and no archwork, all depending on width of course.
  2. Not leaving much room for the Tesco bags
  3. i already did, don't think he was going to put it on the road for a couple of months, waiting for another years no claims.
  4. Had a week off work so have been rather busy on the Audi. Picked up a leather interior for it for a bit of a steal, probably cause its red The new front seats are heated so needed to upgrade the climate control as the heated seat controls are incorporated in the unit, so took the opportunity to install the facelift unit. Felt the interior is a bit bland so as well as the climate unit, added a bit of bling in the form of light switch and pedals. Also added an ipod kit an hid the ipod in the coin tray. Finally had to replace the steering wheel, love the flat bottom wheels. Got S3 vents and new gear knob coming, that should do for the interior.
  5. Got the led rear lights, got to say pretty chuffed with the end result. Got a few other plans as well, watch this space.
  6. Probably best, its the only way to free yourself from the addiction
  7. Thanks Ray. A wee while yet he is 16 this year, but yeah the intention would be to pass it on
  8. As I had to put the bathursts back on the blue one for selling it. Had to find something to put on this one. Picked up a set of 15" OZ F1 Cups. Have to say I think they really suit. Also transfered the plate over and fitted the GTI steering wheel.
  9. Decided I might keep the tyres, so: Wheels only £1,000 delivered to UK mainland. Wheels & tyres £1,200 delivered to UK mainland.
  10. Thanks guys. Yup onwards and upwards. Going to do a couple of things to the Audi, nothing major, just a couple of OEM+ tweeks. Got a hankering for another mk2, but Valerie may take some convincing
  11. Well after 6 years in our care, 5 interiors, 6 sets of alloys, 3 sets of coilovers, 11 awards, 3 magazine features and numerous other mods, the Lupo is gone. Part of me is sad but I think we needed to move on and hopefully the new owner will get as much enjoyment out of the car as we did. We have met many people because of the car and have made many good friends, see you all soon.
  12. Might be a bit far North for you, but Barry Cooper at Stuart Coopers garage in Fourdon does good work.
