Finally back in a lupo, after killing my old lupo 1.4s on a raised man hole cover ive finally got myself a gti. Old Lupo: New Lupo: Its a 6 speed and pretty standard at the moment apart from coilovers witch I belive are FK's. Will be going on the ramp soon to have a full check over so I can list what needs doing. Body work looks to be in ok condition, will get the polish out soon to see how it really is. Lots more to follow...

Fingers crossed ill be back in a Lupo on the weekend.....

The new daily whilst the lupo is off the road. Mercedes Benz c180 w202, luckily working for a mercedes specialist garage got this cheap through a customer

Yes I took it off so I didnt damage it, ive taken it off a few times so sort of quick release now haha

Sooooo, picked up my winter wheels the other night, decided to go to the chippy, wishbone connected with a drain leading to a shagged subframe and air bags going off got it recovered to my friends unit were the fixing begins... Got the dash out this evening Got soaked doing it but its out, new dash in in the week and then get it up to my work to do the sub frame and wish bone

Another wheel update, new wheels on the other day, mim 1900 15x7 et 13 and et 25, on the for some genuine mim centre caps now but love the way they sit, poor photo for the mo should have some good ones soon

Not a lot as been happening with the car lately, got some new wheel lined up (again) so the BBS's will be coming off, but over the past few days I have got a new cone air filter as sold the BMC ages and was cheap, a new double din JVC headunit again was cheap and had all the bits I wanted and came across a wooden nardi torino steering wheel so bought that as well Only got pics of the nardi will get some pics of the other bits after the car has had a good clean Heres the nardi on, need to get the horn button in as my boss is too big for it so need to sort something out when I get some free time but its very nice to drive with and a lot bigger than my old 280mm haha Next on the list will get the new wheels, and if i can get a ramp in work on a saturday morning do a big service and front discs and pads and underseal the whole car underneath

I have black and white at the moment as there were a swap for the BMW ones would like to see blue ones though youve given me a idea haah

Need to get the rear down for better fitment, and front down for more tuck and lows lol On the plus side BBS stickers now added looks tons beter

Right had a week of this week so, got new wheels and re done my headline and sprayed trimming black... Just need more lows and spacing on the rear before Im happy with them, should have some BBS stickers for the caps rather than BMW soon as well

Somethings happened today

Another small up date from over the bank holiday weekend, gti gear knob and gaiter cause it was free haha

So today I finally got a new bumper to put on, easy enough job to do and looks so much better All the bits for today as was putting the wheels back on after MOT didnt get time to clean it though All stripped New bar back on All back together

Yeah totally agree, cause there a ofset of -7 i had to put the adjusters back in cause of the outrageous amount of rubbing haha, lots of arch rolling and camber when i get the time

MOT all passed, only advisories on a oil leak and front discs beginning to wear so not to bad. After looking underneath Im seriously thinking about getting a notch done as its all a bit close haha. On the plus side I have finally sourced a bumper bar so thats gonna go on this bank holiday weekend so the front end will all be on nice and straight, Ill also try and find this oil leak when im there

MOT spec time, working in a garage hopefully will all be good

Not had any updates for a while, just not had time or the weather to do anything to do anything. But heres one, friend of mine was selling a polo 16v binnacle, something Ive always wanted to do so thought why not... So much better than the standard one and such a easy fit. Few plans I hope to get done over the next few months.... Now the back is stripped tidy it up by covering some wood in carpet and have it all in there nice, flat and clean. Will have a new head unit going in (well its my old one) screen broke a while ago so getting it repaired and putting it back in. Going to do a black headliner with gran handles and visors and all the trimmings black. Also a new slam panel soon so the front is straightned out and then roll all my arches so i can get it sitting nicely again

Yeah that was my plan. Im sure after the binnacle comes off the ring around the dials will show them selves how to come off. Anyone got any tips for flocking my dash
