  1. im not getting a ka for her, she can have a push bike instead or walk
  2. You see loads of ka's every day but will struggle to see 3 or more lupos if that. she said the tdi was to noisy and she was to far away from the windscreen
  3. i wanna get a lupo tdi sport or a 16v sport as a runaround for us, but she wants a KA. i think they are tacky inside, dont look like they are finished off. but i love lupos to bits and i will be keeping with the vw scene. i refuse to work on the ka, i will look after and care for the lupo as it is a nice car but no chance with a gay KA

  7. its going to be mainly for the misses going to and from work on the motorway. christ, i get about 40mpg from my highly tuned G. could swap my water injection/methanol over to a tdi to see how much difference it makes. what sort of 1/4 mile are we talking here, 0-60 ect. wouldnt the mass amount of torque on the diesel give it some advantage, if its got more bhp at 110bhp than a standard sport at 100bhp. same size car. cant believe my G is lighter than the lupo's though

  10. thats why i was thinking of the diesel. as diesels are more easily tuned than petrols these days. who do the remap someone like revo, would anything else need to be done aswel to get that figure. can anything else be done to the diesels....? torque figure must fly up ok it wont be like my 230bhp polo but its going to be an every day car that i can mess about with for my misses. but still like a bit of fun in it. GTI is too expensive for me. looking like the tdi as a good choice. 110bhp is cracking for a 3 cylinder car that does 65mpg and insurance group 4 nfbr - is yours a 1.4 tdi? what have you done to it to get 91bhp and 161lb/ft nfbr - whats been done to yours to get to 91bhp and 161lb/ft tigz - did you used to have a polo and 1.4 16v is an option but dont wanna throw thousands at the car as i have spent many thousands on the polo engine
  11. liking both of these and wondering which is the most tuneable and what can be done to both of them still cant believe the 1.4tdi is £46 for 6 months tax

  13. what are the tax brackets for lupos. are all these low tax looking at 1.4s 75bhp, 1.4 sport 100bhp and 1.7sdi think they are 75bhp not sure. has anyone got any performance figures for these, plus mpg etc
  14. good price. is the car now fixed then. what was the damage and does it have to be Q registered now, plus will it cost more on insurance if it has been written off and would the dash need changing if the air bags have gone off. expensive job init. thats the colour she lights aswel as black. not to bothered about performance as she drives a mk3 polo 1 litre at the moment which i will have to put on sale soon, lowered with polished p slots on it.
  15. thought about buying that 1.8 turbo green one for myself a while back. but thought i would buy one for her instead as an excuse to have yet another vw. will be my 7th vw. only turned 23 last week. my brother is on his 9th very shortly when he sells his rallye to get a corrado vr6 and he is only 24 always had a soft spot for the lupo though. very underestimated car. my misses wanted a KA but i talked her to the dark side style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> new polos have gone to big.
  16. hi im new on here i drive an eaton powered polo g40 approx 230bhp soon to be featured in pvw but the reason im here is because im buying a lupo for my misses but i will end up doing stuff to it straight away im looking at between spending £1800-3500 on one, what prices am i looking at spending on different models. plus is a 1.4 16v in the low tax bracket. its got to be power steering for her aswel cheers in advance
