  1. Hi, Anyone bought any replacement GTi mats, black with red outline trim? Originals would be best, but as long as they are good quality. Please advise supplier. (I contacted VW Benfield Motors in Newcastle upon Tyne, reminded them after a month, and was then told that I would have to pay up front and wait an indeterminate length of time and then, when I decided I'd waited too long, go back for a refund. Typical and no thanks).
  2. Hi, I had my Lupo serviced at the main dealer because it was time to change the belt and my usual guy isn't set up for that. While there a 10k service was done and the front pads and discs were replaced. For two weeks now there has been a horrible, metally, gassy smell coming throuigh the air vents that is worse at first start of the day. The maindealer has jumped ship, suggesting that the brakes are "bedding in" and the smell will go. I've been driving around with the house's CO2 detector in the car but that hasn't gone off. Any advice? it's 'orrible.
