  1. where was this done out of interest? cos i would love the front and bonnet redone too, they may be able to do my boot handle and filler flap too for the same sort of cost.

may end up having to look for someone to do my roof soon too :/

come to think of it a full exterior respray may be worthwhile anyway... decisions decisions

Cant remember the name but its down bindon road opposite the Mitsubishi garage. That was done a month or so ago

  2. Seems like a good time to have a Rules Reminder then...

    1. one pic per member per day

    2. must be the work of the poster

    3. try to keep the images to a reasonable size to assist viewing. A link to the full res version may be posted if required.

    4. please respect others images and ask permission before using elsewhere or downloading to your computer

so your above post was just so you could lead to this post?

  3. That's a cool pic. What post processing did you use? ALso lens and camera?

I wish it was my work but it isnt. I think all they do is blur the top and bottom of the image to get the effect

    linky

  4. Wow! car looks very fresh!

Very jealous cos im still working on them to do mine. Nothing back from Chris Craft yet, will have to send him a hard copy. grrr.

I need my bumpers redone and my bonnet, £250 sounds very good. Which sprayshop did VW send u too? Was it the guy over by the landrover and jag sales courts?

Yer with a little help from photoshop lol

The bumpers and bonnet I managed to get down from £500 to £250 so try your best and say another place quoted you £250. The shop in down bindon road near the old test centre.

  5. Well the side that didn't peel I just washed and polished, washed and polished and then washed and polished again! But the side in the picture had been damaged and someone did a seriously dodgey repair job- literally just spraying any old red paint over the glue from the removed strip then sticking another on top so the only choice I had was getting a respray.

I think Im going to stick mine back on just to cover the crap on the car
