I think the S3 looks a little dates... I can see a facelift coming along....
The pictures you have of the S3 isn't the latest one.

Audi A3 S Line TDI - 140
Caddy 1.9 TDI - 105
122.5BHP average

I haven't seen any UK sales figures for the new Polo, but I've seen a lot on the road. I also much prefer the rear of the new polo to the new golf.

Which way around is the pineapple??
Do we know how much the gti will be??
£18k apparently.
The S1 will be a lot more than £18k too.
-
I've only ever driven an A3 3.2 with Audis version of the DSG, which seemed fine. First negative comments I've heard about the DSG tbh.
Anyway a great little car, although at around £18k I guess it needs to be.

My new MacBook Pro arrived, me still likey them!

Ok it doesn't distinguish itself from it's big brother, the MK6 Golf GTI, in terms of styling, but I for one love it!
-
Can I expect you to get around to answering some of my threads in the next two years?
-
Very nice, I'd love another quick car, but I hated spending £250+ each month on fuel.
-
from what iv searched on google, i think you have to phone O2 and have them turn it off
Thanks Jamie, your googling must be far better than mine!
-
If I were to buy one it would be to use at home and at hotels/away etc
-
Ok I have a gay pay as you go 3GS, is there anyway to turn off the infuriating credit updates?
-
You're all describing software disappointments, software can be updated.
That said I'm not going to rush out and buy one on the first day of release, nor Im not going to moan about what it should have been either.
-
Nice work, but I would have keep the GTI identity too, I think they got the look of the it just right.
Not taking anything away from the build though, good job done.
-
It's not without fault, and its Apples usual stunt of releasing 1st generation stuff thats OK at best, and drip feeding updates, and versions, until it becomes the thing that you orginally wanted, think ipod, iphone etc.
I agree with Phil and Al, it's not going to be as well priced in the UK, but it should still represent good value in terms of build quality, design, ease of use, and materials (which is what Apple is about).
-
Phil try looking on www.mk5golfgti.co.uk that bunch of idiots are always removing perfectly good seats and selling them off cheap.

That says it all really.
True, it does.

I will be inheriting close to 1000 original Oxford Edition odels from a relative. He only buys the limited edition run version, with cars, buses, lorries and all sorts! All of them have their original registration card filed away, original boxes stored in pristine condition and most of the cars are displayed in locked cabinets with reference cards so he knows which box the cars belong in! His flat is like a toy car museum with cars in presentation displays on every single wall and the entire spare bedroom is storage for the boxes and catalogues.
Havent got a clue what any of it would be worth!
WOW!!! I'm excited for you.
-
Might be worth looking into a specialist toy/model auctions for the 'best' stuff, esp if you have loads.

Engine next?
One that can actually offer some real gains?
-
That's a big spend Mr Fox.

...are you sure you want to drop it really low? One of the reasons I went for the Dune is so I can get into the forestry car parks etc. as I was fed up of dragging the arse of the Lupo and Arosa. Air ride?
I hear what you're saying Silver! but I want the option to set the ride height. There is so much space between wheel and arch that you could drop it 70mm and still have something very usable.
Also here in England we have some of the finest forrestry tracks around, even Foxy in his dropped toy car can get in the cps.

Who makes the cheap ones?
VMaxx @ £550
KW V1 @ £990
or Eibach springs with KW rear clamps and adjustor bars @ £400
IIRC Koni or Spax make suitable shocks too @ £100 each
