Im thinkin of attempting to turbo the gti sometime next year , I have a friend who used to work at a vw garage and he has told me that a turbo from a GT Tdi 150 would fit is he correct or pulling my leg ??

Where could i get a badgeless grille for the loop from and can anyone point me in the right direction of some bad boy bonnet pictures for lad in bodyshop to have a look at Cheers

yea its the dietrich front bumper i got it really cheap through a swap deal i would have used the front bumper for the gti if i could get hold of some xenons but its a bit too late now i have blended the arches in im thinking of putting some kind of airbrushing onto it what you guys think ?? and also maybe a front splitter and some engine work in the future

Just spoke to him and he has removed the alternator and oil can and still no joy

Hi I bought a 4 branch manifold and i am just having it fitted at my local powerflow and he is having problems fitting it i bought the manifold for a gti and the manifold will fit wont it ?? the problem he is having is not much room can anyone help asap Thanks

I bought a 4 2 1 manifold off here and i am wanting a full system for the gti, can i take both cats out or is one required because of lambda sensor i know there is a pre cat then the one on the manifold, whats the best way to get round the "cats" situation Cheers

Repairing this one and using it as my project and then putting the old 1.4 16v engine into my red loop and selling that 1 then selling the gti engine i have for it

i know when i rang sealers a while since to price sum xenons up i just laughed at them (good job he knew me) but i suppose i have a slight advantage im in the motor trade and get most bits cheap and my dads a painter as well so that should save a few pennies just hope it doesnt go for stupid money it has bent the leg but i also have a jig as well if it did require that if all else fails i might be willing to brake , also the old engine and box ecu etc if i do sell i am willing to listen to offers Cheers

I have been to look at it today its not as bad as the pics make it out to be i have bidded on it and hopefully it wont go for too much if i manage to get it im going to have a gti engine and box for sale which has been welded up to a very good standard only problem is theres no xenons style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> whats a good limit to go to for this ??
