Okay dooder, thought that maybe the case linked the Lupo up to the computer and its not getting any info to or from it so the guys at the garage have said that it may need replacing and i have a new one but was thinking of doing it myself if it wasnt to much of a ballache

Anyone? it would really help me out, i cant find details of where it is anywhere?

Hi guys and girls, went to open my car door and the Central locking has stopped and the interior light has stopped working at the same time. Is this a fuse blown I.e are they linked or is this another sort of issue? Any help would be a HUGE help! This is on a 1.4 lupo

Sounds like a Gamma is a result then. I have managed to pick up one for free from a friend who is scrapping a car and its got the gamma one i need in it! ace

Hello all, Can anybody tell me what the difference is between the gamma and beta stereos? My stereo has packed up in my Lupo and have the option of a Gamma or a beta one?, my one thats broken says beta on it, but if i replace it with a gamma will that matter?? Any help would be appreciated

Hopefully getting mine from Lupoboz on Monday, then fit it. Connector corroded aswell but Lupoboz replacement has replacements aswell

Go on im nice I have had a quick nose and it seems relatively easy to take out, doies anyone know where you can get replacements?

My high level brake light on the boot doesn't work? Could one of you lovely people tell me how to change the bulb please Also if it's not the bulb is the switch easy to change?

Had this problem for the last week or so! so following your guide and advise I took it all apart and cleaned ****er in the freezing cold of my work car park! put it all back together and it now works like a charm! no more cutting out thanks guys n girls its the power of a quick search in club lupo land!

I have a 1.4se and i get 240-250 miles out of a full tank do a bit of town and bit of motorway everyday, im sooo happy with that compared to my last VW! thristy beast it was!

Defo sounds like the pipe is either split or has come off, dry iy all out with a hair dryer and kitchen roll, then if yoy cant find the leak, get some one to put the pusher on while you are watching the area (keep your eyes out of harms way tho!)

Do you know if there is any water coming in? it could just be that the terminals have furred up over the years and need a clean due to condensation? take it apart and have a clean then put back together and see what happens. If there is water in the bottom little tray of the boot where the lock connects to on closing then there is a leak about

Yea , I would have thought its the same. The main bit is to get the hair dryer in there and dry it all out. I have now heat shrunk over the connectors so no more water or moisture can get in what ever happens there in the future

Right sorted! took 10 mins to do. Removed the plastic cover panel and found that the rear screen wash black connector had come off and had sprayed the inside. Cleaned and dried everything and pulled the sensor switch terminal out to find it was wet aswell. This got dried off and cleaned. Put everything back and......... tadaa! all works fine and the washer is twice as powerfull as its ever been. Thanks for your help dooders.

How did you adjust it? just by moving it around when undoing it?

Sorry to dredge this up, but does anyone have a picture of the switch and its location?? i cannot find mine for love nor money! is it within the latch and i have to remove the rear panel etc? Minee has started to come on and only goes out when the boot is slammed shut. Please help!

What about something like an Alpine or Pioneer? will need one with a removeable front tho

So what double din stereo head units fit in the Standard Lupo recess then? what are the good ones and are there any to watch out for? I would like a removeable front panel one as the loops kept on the road, any ideas or pointers?
