  1. First the fronts with the Bridgestones (165/50/15) - I have started repairing the curbing on these, so curb marks aren't too bad: Wheel 1: Wheels 2: Tread on both fronts is like this (sorry crappy pic, damn camera phones!): And rears, shod in a pair of 195/50's - Wheel 3: Wheel 4 - the damaged one (like I said however, still holds air perfectly - and also not done by me, before you start on us women drivers!!): both rears are pretty much new, with plenty of tread: All wheels are 15x6.5, ET 28. So there we go, first person to put £100 in my hand takes them! Dont really want to sell, but the car I was going to put them on has now been written off, and dont have space to store Collection only from swansea, south wales, can't be doing with arranging couriers and the like - please PM if you're interested
  2. I've been round the scrappers in the area - cheapest i can get them for four is £60 plus VAT, so £72 - I've bought alloys cheaper than that in my time! found a set off a mate for £40, so thanks anyway
  3. Long and short of it - involved in a crash last night in my arosa and describing the damage to the insurance company it looks like they're gonna write it off :-( but I want to keep my alloys, so need some steelies sharpish before they take it away! So, anyone?
  4. whereabouts are you mate? need some standard steelies FAST!
  5. Exactly what I'm after, the right price - but the other end of the country - DAMMIT! GLWS mate
  6. pics would be great, also where abouts are you based?
  7. do you have a price in mind for the carpets?? also the interior plastics - the bits around the bottom of the doors and up the sides of the rear seats etc?? I live in swansea so can collect - if the price is right... Ps. Is this the same car sarah diamond was telling me about on facebook???
  8. may sound like a noob question, but i am a noob ( :-P ) would these also bolt straight into a mk1 arosa??
  9. I agree it's probably an aquired taste - but hey, it's something different - and it takes quite alot to be different these days!! Things I forgot to add.... Reconditioned gearbox and new alternator & fanbelt within the last 6 months I.C.E includes FLI speakers x 4 (2 have been put into the rear doorcards) Rear strutbrace smoothed and colour-coded engine cover Arches have been rolled and pulled slightly that is all for now!!!
  10. For sale is my boyfriends Lupo - The Audi Loop as it's nicknamed - He's owned it for a year and spent loads of time and money on it!! so specs... Make: VW Model: Lupo SDI MOT: Middle May TAX: Just put a 6 month ticket on so end Sept Engine size: 1700 diesel - great fuel economy! MODIFICATIONS: Audi A3 (?) grill fabricated into the front bumper, bad boy eyelids, debadged rear with smoothed rear bumper, Re-spray in original colour, smoked headlights, lowered 60mm all round, performance back box, engine has been chipped, tinted rear windows, 15" White alloy wheels (unsure of make) with 195/45 rubber (I'm pretty sure theres more, which i will add when he's here to remind me!!) Location: Ammanford, South Wales Images: Price: £2399 ONO Any questions, feel free to ring ben on 07792496340 - or PM me and I'll pass the message on!!
  11. less than 2 weeeks after I bought my little arosa - it's blown the head gasket and crankshaft oil seal....picked up a thermostat as was told it prob needed a new one when i bought the car...gone to change it...and there wasn't one in the housing.... however, the thermostat seems too small for the housing - it's too short, and not wide enough. I got the motor factor to order me one off a different company, and it's exactly the same size - I was wondering if anything goes into the housing with it...? this is what I have, along with an o-ring to re-seal the housing:
  12. I'm looking for the engine code, as mine is throwing all the signs up of a head gasket failure - and I need to get it fixed quick sharp!! If there are multiple engine codes, whereabouts on the block do i need to look to find which one it is?? Cheers!!!
