Ive got a lupo sport that ive changed the gearbox on . Im having trouble selecting between 1st and 3rd gear cleanly . The 1st and 3rd gear seem to be very close together . When im trying to select 1st gear i often find that i have selected 3rd gear ,so i try again and then i can select 1st gear . I also find that its not easy to push the gearstick freely into those gears . I brought the second hand gearbox from a reputable breaker and it was sold with it working as it should . So i think the gearbox is hopefully fine . What do you guys think ?.

Dubster and LexG ,both your cars are excellent examples . I would like a white or anthrasite or black one ,with air con,heated leathers . At what mileage and year does the prices of gti's start shooting up .. It seems that anything after 53 plate and less than 70k seems to command much higher prices ..

Looking to purchase a lupo gti in the near future . What's the best colour for one . What is the most desirable spec list to have ?. What should I pay for low milage one ? Any other advice to help me choose a good one ,would be appreciated thanks

ok ..if i use the polo gti block and head with my gearbox .. With my 1.4 16v ancillaries ,will it work ?...

Im wondering if I can use a bare Lupo gti head and block with my 1.4 16v 100bhp AFN components . Will this work and is there any issues that might occur ?.

Are lupo cross members the same between a lupo sport 1.4 16v and a lupo tdi .. I'm sure they are but would like to confirm all the same ..
