  1. My pretty baby busted the motor for intake manifold flap. I live in Finland and the only place I can get a new one is the official vw-service and it costs 400€ (=£350). So any idea if there is any possibilities to get a new motor cheaper anywhere outside of Finland? The patient is a -01 3L so 1.2TDI. There were no Lupos sold new in Finland so I adopted one from sweden.
  2. I read my Lupos fault codes with VAG-COM and got some. Before the codes were read those got the "intermittent" status but after cleared, those came back. Any advice for self-help is appreciated. The fault codes were: Address 01: Engine Controller: 045 906 019 AA Component: 1,2l R3 EDC 0001DS 1313 Coding: 00002 Shop #: WSC 01286 WVWZZZ6EZ1W005433 VWZ1Z0Y1113725 2 Faults Found: 17911 - Load Signal from Alternator Term. DF: Implausible Signal P1503 - 35-00 - - 19559 - Motor for Intake Manifold Flap (V157): Malfunction P3103 - 35-00 - - Readiness: N/A Address 15: Airbags Controller: 6E0 909 605 Component: 02 AIRBAG VW5 0005 Coding: 12338 Shop #: WSC 01286 1 Fault Found: 01590 - Igniter for Battery Disconnect (N253) 32-00 - Resistance too High
