Can anyone tell me what size the twin tips are on a Lupo GTI? Performance wise - what is the best width B-Pipe to have mated with a Raceland Manifold + Decat? what width is the Raceland manifold + decat - is it 2.25"? cheers

Just wondering what the rest of you are doing with your BMC CDAs: Filter seems pretty dirty - do you buy a new filter or clean it? I have no oil catch can - should probably invest in one too. cheers

got some pics taken month or so ago, heres how she currently sits - down as low as i can get it without any arch/chasis work: really just tidyed up a bit, redone the yellow grill surround, got a rear GTI badge - detailed the 'I' yello, same on the front badge. Looking for some Ronal LS centre caps - will swap for the BBS. Does anyone know if you can just buy the centre badge of the cap? also going to be changing the tail pipe for a Jamex Twin or Standard - think the current one poke out a bit too much *also - on the look out for a decent set of coilovers - feels like ive ruined it slightly with the TA Technix, but i suppose that was to be expected cheers

cheers for the reply in the top pic where the oil dip stick is located; directly in front and beneath the pipe there is a pipe that comes up; is this the breather pipe? is this the reason oil catch tanks are installed to catch excess oil? were is the oil coming from here though? apologies if this is a simple query

Hi just wondering if anyone would happen to have a diagram/pics of the OEM Air intake setup on a GTI? I need to see how the standard intake/filter etc is setup as mine came with a BMC which was pretty poorly setup. Can anyone tell me the purpose/name of the pipe that connects into the intake Before the filter? cheers

yeh wouldnt rate the technix for handling at all! they are good for getting the car low, the rims are 7.5" wide and its rubbin if its thrown about, def be worth investing in the better coilovers heres another pic

yea there are no adjusters on the back, just got new set of ta technix, only replaced the front down as low as i can go at the moment what alternative to tape could i use, anyone know where to get yellow piping for the lip of the grill?

was going to put a red lip on the front grill, but had no red tape, found some yellow tape and thought i'd try it to see what it looks like, someone suggested i change the red I to yellow too what do you think?

basically i fitted the coilovers with everything they came with; once fitted, jacked down, wheels on etc, the top struts were sticking right up above the top mount, so the bonnet obviously wouldnt close i then removed the cap that sits at the top of the top spring on my old coilovers, and the small support cap that sits beneath it and placed on new coilovers, but when fitting now, there isnt enough thread showing to get the top nut on sorry for the terrible description does anyone understand what im trying to say?

hello sorry for another coilover fitting query i searched and couldnt find the answer i was looking for basically this is something simple which i cannot remember how to get round/fix replacing the coilovers on my gti with ta technix, problem is the top strut / top mount im not sure on the exact name, top strut where the threads are; i cannot get enough of the top strut through to finish fitment - there is not enough threads to even get the nut on top any one any ideas on this??

No major plans at the moment, was thinkin bout selling but when i sold the 1.4 i really wanted another one, so unsure what to do as im sure id regret it"! Suppose plan is to get more power!

hi, here is my 01 Lupo GTI Spec: 1.6 16v 125bhp Full Exhaust - BMC Induction Kit, Raceland 4-2-1 Manifold, De-Cat TA Technix Coilovers Bought the car off a guy in scotland last sept/oct, not sure if he is on here though. had few running problems, but all sorted now, seems to be running fine ! Since ive owned it made a couple of minor changes - already had wheels coils and exhaust when bought. Had an oval tailpipe when i got it, thought it was a bit big, so changed that to a twin. Few other wee bits here and there Cheers
