picked the motor up yesterday and the work that has been carried out it Mint, sum pics will get sum better ones up on the wkend with a better camera (SLR)

Jabbles, ive changed the wires over still perm live this was the same on my Alpine, however the alpine does'nt have a standby light, unlike the Jvc unit and theres no mention in handbook about the power button illumation after ign/headunit is off??? might revert back to the Alpine 9860ri

ive fitted the above headunit tonight less the antenna connection aint got the adaptor, only issue that its constant live and when the headunit is turned off the standby light remains on is this norm for these head units as i dont want to kill the battery, cheers

thought id update the thread, After 5 hrs today ive got a custom catback exhaust fitted, Ive opted for a larger centre box and no back box to aid flow, before i get slated theres no rasp or the dreaded drone noise at cruising speed, theres a nice burble on tickover pics and vids to follow. also booked in on tues for a front end respray got sick off looking at stonechips.
