I really want to change my door mirrors as they are really tatty. Where would be the best place to get some from and replacements for the covers inside the doors? Any help would be great as I haven't a scooby doo :-) And any general tips on easy cheap ways to get a little bit more out of the engine would be great.

Ok I have decided to go ahead and start modifying it and really want to start with the wing mirrors as the ones on it are tatty and the parts for the wing mirror inside are rubbish too. Any ideas where I can get a nice pair from complete with replacement inside parts. (im not too technical) Also thinking of lowering it whats the best / cheapest way of doing it? and does anyone have any alloys for sale and how much?

I have just recently brought a 2000 Seat Arosa 1.0L MPi and have to admit I kinda love the little thing and have thought about doing it up. I just cant help wondering if it is too much like polishing a s#*t, as at the end of the day its only a 1 litre town car and thats all it will be right? Or am I looking at this all wrong and should I make it into something more and cherish it for being such a fun car to drive. Please let me know what you think good or bad and maybe throw some ideas my way to.
