Really getting on my nerves now. Engine fault light was bringing up an EGR valve fault. Eventually replaced valve and cleaned out throttle body etc. Light still on this time reading o2 sensor. Replaced that too. Still light on dash Took to vw who said the ecu needed resetting. They did and hey presto. No warning lights. 1200 miles later engine check light back on reading faults with EGR and lambda sensor! They were only just replaced. Can anyone think what could be causing this before I take it back in? Car is a 54 Lupo sport.

Hi, experiencing a strange case whereby temp gauge works fine but very occasionally when going up a steep hill needle momentarily falls then rises again to normal position. Is this a case of a new sensor or could it be something else, loose connection etc?
