thats what i was thinking. he only does a 40/40 kit, a 60/40 kit or something slightly lower than that. fancied going a bit lower than 40mm to be honest.

If i buy a suspension kit off phil on here for my gti, and get a 60/40 drop will the car not look like the front is too low compared to the back? ive always wondered this! pictures of lupos with a 60/40 drop would be great! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

the bastucks are available through regal i seem to remember. not sure on the price but i think just over 300 rings a bell for the cat back system style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Ive done a search but with no luck. Im after a set of lowering springs for my gti. they wont be on the car permantly but just as a temporary fix to it being so high. what is the difference between springs listed for a sport and a gti? alot of people seem to not do them for a gti? why is this? surely all lupos use the same suspension system. just the gti having uprated shocks and springs? is a gti lower than all the rest standard?

to be honest the lupo gti is in a pretty much unique class. there is only the mini cooper that could be said to be in the same class. i have had mine a month or so now and what a car. ok its not a supercar but smiles per gallon are immense. i learnt to drive in a lupo and have always wanted to go back to one. now i have im not disapointed at all! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> remember there is not alot of difference between a 5 speed and a 6 speed!!

the wheels are standard bathursts so id say they are the offset you have listed above. i really dont want to have to fork out on new tyres though as the ones on it are virtually brand new rainsports!! id imagine it would be worth getting it all checked first before i go buying tyres!

yes it scrubs when on full lock to the left. there is clear evidence on the arch lining of the tyre fouling the lining. the squeak happens when turning and it is only very faint so i dont know if the two problems are associated? thanks for the help beach you always seem to be pretty helpful style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Another question from me for today! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":lol:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> me being very stupid decided to cause damage to my car style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":angry2:" border="0" alt="angry.gif" /> when i approached the car to hop in for another pleasureable ride the other day i decided to try and get into the car without actually unlocking it (i actually pressed the lock button thinking it was the unlock) this was down to my previous vauxhall having the buttons the other way around on my remote. when i tried to open the door i pulled the handle and it has come away from the body by about 5mm. it still works but after the car has been locked you have to push the handle back in a little until you hear a click and then the handle will work fine until you lock it again. ive tried pushing the handle back to its original position but it wont go. i was hoping i had just poped it out and it would just pop back in. what could i have done? thanks steve

i havent had the wheel off but im pretty sure its standard. its definately not lowered. there is a slight squeak coming from that side when i turn also but i didnt think this was anything to do with the scrubbing. what else could cause the scrubbing then? its really irritating as it make me look stupid! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":lol:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

Hi guys what is the standard tyre size for the bathursts. my gti is totally standard and is fitted with 195/50/15 tyres but they seem to scrub the front passenger arch when on full size? the only thing i can think of is the tyres are not the correct size? what else could it be? thanks style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
