hello guys hopefully someone can help me. My lupo is cutting out intermittently-driving along and it just dies. Then when i go to start it again, the coil light doesnt come on in the dash and it just turns over but doesnt start. Ah-relay 109 i hear you say... but i changed that and its still happening!!!! its driving me crazy. the only other thing that we noticed was that relay 103 which appears to control the glow plugs is only getting 6 volts to it. This isnt enough to switch the relay and thats whats causing the coil light not to come on. Sometimes the relay is getting 12v-when it does the coil light comes on and the car starts. At my wits end, please help. Thanks people

Yes mate, standard steering wheel-like i say it was like this when i got the car-I removed the vw badge which was concealing the light to reveal a light which is permanently on. Im thinking it will be a costly fix....

hi all The airbag light is on constant on my 2000 lupo-the guy i bought it off was a crafty devil and covered the airbag light with a vw keyfob badge-new MOT legislation means they have to see the airbag light coming on and going off at start up to pass. Can any of the cheap vagcom systems available through ebay switch the light off? Hope you can help!! Thanks

Hi all Having problems with the drivers door lock-the key turns in it, but it doesnt lock or unlock it. I cant even lock it from the inside with the door closed!! I dont have central locking. I remember reading something about this a while back-seems to be a pretty common fault. Does anyone know what parts i need to fix it? Thanks for your help!

Hi guys The reversing lights on my lupo have stopped working-is there a switch/wire at the gearbox that would be stuck/broken? Ive obviously changed the bulbs-but no joy. Please help!!!

Hey all Im getting a strange 'clunk' sound from my lupo sdi when in gear and i press the throttle (usually when im in a high gear and going at too slow a speed) or when i let the clutch out when changing gear-any ideas??

Whilst driving home tonight i heard a clunking sound and could feel what i can only describe as something hitting the footwell below the pedals. It seems ok when im driving-gets worse at lower speeds. Any ideas guys? Second day of lupo ownership!!lol
