Hey! Not all of us auto owners are old lol (im 25 and unfortunately restricted to auto's due to disability) If you are still looking for an auto, just do the usual checks and when you take it for a test drive,listen out for the gears changing smoothly. If possible try it out on different roads and definately attempt going up an hill,making sure it holds ok. An auto should hold well on a hill,even when in 'drive' providing the hill isn't too steep!! Auto's have a 'kick down' feature, where you 'put your foot down' and it goes through the gears quickly,building up the speed quicker so try this out also and see it works ok! Pulled up at tesco express upper gornal,west mids today to find a blue loop y reg 1.4 with vw alloys (not lowered) AND when i came out there was another loop,this time a red sdi (not modded) v reg.Anyone on here???? Its rare i see another loop by me,let alone see 2 (3 with mine) at the same place on the same day Pity we didnt all park together,i'd have got a picture Siobhan

My hubby bought a Saxo VTR from new as his 1st car,some years ago but he prefers my lupo (standard 1.4 S) anytime. He said the lupo feels much safer and solid than his saxo was and wouldn't let me have a nice looking Saxo I went to look at before spotting the lupo! Hope thats helped a bit?!

Thanks for the replies, have emailed rightclick (they have a ebay shop) for advice on which one i need to buy from them so just waiting for their response. Hi all Would like to upgrade my central locking to remote locking but i dont know what kit to go for Have browsed the site,found a post about fitting remote locking and someone mentioned rclick. Just wondered if anyone has bought off rclick and if so which kit is the easiest to fit? Also if anyone knows of any kits other than rclick that are easy to fit,let me know. Hi Thanks for the reply. My hubby would be ok fitting the remote locking. There are keys on ebay for £30 posted, so would just need to find somewhere to get it reprogramed. Thanks Siobhan.

Hi, I'm new to the site so i'd like to say hello I also have a couple of questions!! I have a Lupo S Automatic 2001 (51) in silver. Love the car but unfortunately i only have one key! Does anyone know where i can get a spare key from other than VW ( they charge alot! ) Also, I would like to get remote locking fitted. Does anyone know where i can purchase remote locking from and is it easy to fit? I live in Dudley, West Midlands if anyone knows anywhere local or fairly local. Any help appreciated! Thanks Siobhan.
