I found it very easy to upgrade front speakers and didnt need to drill out any rivets, i just solderd the wires into the connector that was already their. As for the rear speakers i used the same mk5 golf connectors, but i only removed half the door card, i then added 6x9's and just soldered them to the connectors again.

plenty of room under the bonnet for a big transplant too

i've got a fox and started modding it, i've had the boot smoothed out and bump strips removed, lowered 100mm, just deciding on wheels just now, thinkin about gettin the door handles smoothed out too. also think it's great to drive, absorbes bumps in the road just as well as any other car with a longer wheel base, very spacious inside. As far as lupo's go i think they look hideous standard except for the gti!

My fox is doing the same, have to keep pressing the open button till it eventually does it
