  1. insurance is a jokeeee i pay £900 for my arosa an you can get basically a supercar with enough room for anything you need for a 3rd of the price!

the supercharged rs4 that goes the salford meets is awesome..

cheers jamie il look into those inserts now!

  2. i wouldnt use the original spring or shock so that wouldnt be a problem but i doubt il be making a set now anyway..

any other platforms the same as the avant that coilovers are more popular for?

silver get the blue rs4 avant with a miltek exhaust thats a dream car

  3. i'd buy air if

i could afford it because itl go lower than coilovers and not drag it on the floor. but i wouldnt pay £600 for coilovers as its not a performance car i literaly want the coilovers to get it as low as i can its never going to that comfy when its wound right down.. and how is making a coilover which would cost half as much to get made an fitted skimping on stuff?

  4. Proper coilovers cost that much, deal with it.

proper coilovers? you mean the kind you can afford and the kind i cant? and the fact its an e reg audi which has 115bhp in 1987 its not gunna need £600 coilovers to keep it on the road is it really

    air ride

quite frankly i'd love air ride if i could afford it i would own it by now aha

  5. Years ago i read about making your own coilovers, i keep every mag :innocent: so once i find it i will send you the copy.

Type "how to make coilovers" in google, loads youtube and other sits on how to do this

yea my mates just said demon tweaks do a threaded bar and adjusters and a universal spring to make your own

cheers for the info that would be great as i think it would turn a few heads arriving at shows in it :)

if i get it it would have to be sitting alot better on some bigger wider wheels so my question is anyone know how to get it low? previous searches have turned back coilovers available for £600+ an i cant afford that but i have been told people build their own coilovers derived from polo coilovers?!

    any info would be great!

    cheers

  8. went to edition 38 at the weekend got back on sunday night heard a sort of creaking noise in the car thought nothing of it but its persistant when i release the clutch it creaks sort of like a door that needs the hinges oiling aha any ideas?

could also be doing it whilst turning

    mk1 arosa 1.4 8v

    cheers

  9. 120bhp would be double the power compared to my arosa's 60bhp and im guessing the torque figure will be more than double the arosa's? is 120 just from a remap? would a decent exhaust, panel filter and a remap push more or is thats whats meant as stage 2? im a novice with car tuning aha

    cheers btw!
