Cheers man hows the loop? Never see it anymore as i work in holmes chapel now aha
-
So i sold the arosa in like october time and ended up getting a pistachio 6n with aircon aha!
Within 5 days it looked like this

No issues with mine leaking so far seems alright but getting them on took a few attempts
-
Not at all mate
Good stuff an my cars piss slow so should hope they stay on
Like I said before dude, I have a full set of 165's i'm running now so if the 185's are too hench then I can just swap them over!
Ah didnt realise you gunna run 8's all round?
-
Keep them nice a high, around 38-40 I imagine
Il get the pressure gauge on em tmoz! Cheers
I run 36 in my tyres, but thats 165 on a 7.5, so you have an extra 7.75mm of stretch either side. I'm regretting buying my 185's today tbh.
I think 185's didnt look enough but that was 185 50 suppose it depends how low you or how much camber
I got 165 55 on a 8j
Had any trouble on them?
-
Take it easy on them looks sick imo
Yea i am doing aha an cheers! What stretch you running on your steels?
aye keep checking tyre pressures lol
Yea will do need check them now tbf as im not sure what there running aha
-
Sitting nice
sweet!!
Cheers
Jus waiting on 16v bumpers and a wing frol paint then should look decent
-
Gone for 165 50
On polo
Cheers

Iv ran it on 7j for months and been fine.. Im at the tyre place now aha
-
Iv seen the tyrestretch pics so im aware its pretty stretched jus wondering if anyones running it on here an if its gunna come off the bead
Cheers anyway
-
I do find it quite alot of stretch myself but my mate had a tyre to fit a 7j wide wheel an had it on a 10j rim without any problems
And is a 165 50 meant for 5.5j or 6?
-
Im going to be getting 165 50's on an 8j wheel is it very difficult as its a fair bit of stretch the tyre will be bridgestone potenza
-
Going to be purchasing a set of 8j wheels
And ordered 4 potenza 165 50 15's for them..
My questions are
How hard will it be for the tyre place to get that tyre on the rim?
When/if it goes on is it likely to leak/come off the bead ?
Iv searched and read a few topics on various forums but still sort of mixed views..
Cheers

I have removed helpers allround wound it right the way down and i think its bottoming out as in piston bottoming out so is quite bouncy.. Is there any way around this other than putting helpers back or winding it up?
Also the coilover has this extra adjuster ring on and the base of the coilover can be extended/taken off but i dont know what its for?
If i extend the base of the coilover will that allow for the piston to move more?!
Said car
Any help is welcomed!
Cheers

Had this a week
Previously owned a matt black mk1 arosa.
-
Was being the key word i take it? And probably the only gti engine in that colour polo
-
I had JOM on my 6n2 and it went low.
Probably the worst thing I ever did to it.
I remember that being on classifieds ages ago doesnt it have leather interior and a gti engine swap?
-
It was £450 with aircon and 58k miles im not going to burn it just slam it instead cheers for the advice about coilovers iv opted for ta's as im a cheapskate and couldnt be bothered save for a week an get fk's and the ta's claim to be 120mm drop but il be remving helpers anyway
-
Just aqcuired a 6n and wanting coilovers but ta's say 120mm drop on the advert and my mate has them and its not low enough an dont relaly wanna remove helpers but if needs must
Anyoe no anything about getting 6n's low
Cheers

I sold the arosa 2 days ago but i like the 3 spokes i just need a new car with 4x100 pattern and i'l have them .. They 15x7?
-
Dont think so as its too costly to get low aha :/
-
Aha it failed mot on quite a few things and im fedling a change but its no longer being crushed a mate is buying it off me for £200 to resurrect it
-
