Update time Now have the engine damper all fitted now heres some pics Hole tapped to bolt damper to mount Hole in body for boss to bolt the other end of the damper tapped the sleeve for bolt and reinforced and all sealed up jus needs a lick of paint now Also had a slight fire abit of stray fuel ignited in the chassis leg so had to bust the fire extinguiser out All the fab work is now done and the engine drops in and out a treat More soon

Update with pics all is explained in the above post nearly got the engine bay raedy for paint Just got the other side to do and its ready for paint Also the hydrolic clutch is sorted as the golf clutch pedal and assemble bolted straight in More soon

Time for an update and all the mounts are now finished jus need to gravitex and paint them Bit of grinding bit of welding and the passenger mount is done and all sealed up ready for paint More soon

Rite guys update time got one the mounts and chassis legs completely finished and seam welded so heres some pics The chassis rail is now alot stronger than the original item so for the idiots ( No names mentioned ) that like to give negitive comments about what we are doing if you havnt got a clue dont bother Also bin doing abit of strengthning by filling in a big factory gap ready the finish of the passanger side mount BEFORE AFTER

The chassis legs will be boxed back in useing 3mm steel so will be stronger than the original item that will be done once the engine is removed after all the mounts are finished. This has to be done as the engine will not pysically fit in because its to wide. If you or anybody else has anymore sarcastic remarks you can keep them to yourself !!!!

Heres some pics of my first engine conversion i did it was my first car It started life as a 1.8 turbo deisel but then the engine gave up so i thought id put an rs turbo engine in it any way heres some pics but after doing the conversion everything started to go wrong i bought the enginas as rebuilt unit but the monkey that built the engine did a **** job and the gudgin pin slide across and scored tbe bore. After fixing that the headgasket failed so i got that fixed. Then the metering unit failed so i got that ****ed with it, it ended up like this
