I have some news for you! This is how my GTI looked like as I sold it. I sold the old one for 5.400 euroes. It had already 69000km, is built in 01/1999. It wa a comfortline without AC or sunroof. Now a 23 old girl from Flensburg (northern Germany) drives it...

They actually are from a '98 Lupo. The Lupos from '98 to '00 had them, in the middle of '00 VW decided to put the new (they say safer) rests into the Lupo. I saw a red Lupo with black interior at a "scrap iron place". The red Lupos have the red seam(?) on the rests, so they match perfect with the GTI's interior... They didnt cost anything because I swapped them ;-)

@ Loopy Lupo: rims: 1096,- euroes tyres: 406,- euroes total: 1502,- euroes I think they're worth it. And nobody in a circle of 70km has them, too... @ adam: ...I wantend them since three years, but they wouldnt fit on my blue Lupo16V, so I had to wait until I get the chance to buy a GTI. The DZ's fit perfect to it, especially the ETs. I will never need distance plates... @ all: It will be lowered soon. I will order the springs tomorrow. So, its only a question of days, til my GTI will look a bit better...

ESP is a good thing, I think too... But if you want to drive sportive you have to switch it off...

I will take some pics of the interior the next days. The only thing that is changed in the interior are the head restraints(?)... The original ones have that big hole in the middle, which Lupos have since year 2000. I changed them against the "older" ones with no hole. The seats look more sportive now, I will show you... Can someone p-shop a nice signature out of these pics?

Styling: - DZ Exclusiv-wheels 7,5x16 ET 30/15 on Dunlop SP 9000 195/40/16 - Cambridge rear-lights - 3M-Scotch window tinting In thre next weeks it gets lowering springs (40mm) and probably a new exhaust pipe. Hi! Im from Germany and an owner of a LupoGTI. I read this thread and heres my reply: A couple of months ago I had Lexani on my GTI. Lexani Marqi 7,5x17 ET43 with 195/40/17 tyres. The car is not lowered yet, so it didnt look well and i sold the Lexani. I dindnt like them any more, too. Now I have 16s: DZ Exclusiv 1 7,5x16 ET 30 (front) 7,5x16 ET 15 (rear) ... on Dunlop SP 9000 in 195/40/16. It looks great, though the car isnt lowered. I think I will change the springs to get it 40mm lower. Got connections to "FK-Automotive" so I have low prices.
