totaly miffed off now.... less than a week after getting my sport someone has decided to park into the rear bumper.. smashed and split the plastics, smashed rear light and a bit of paint.. "oh sorry i didnt see it" its bright bloody green.... and it was parked up at the time as well.. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr boils my blood. lucky i got his details though... fed up now whats te going rate for a rear bumper in fantasia green and a nearside rear light cluster . ?

at the end of the day mate have what you want in your car... its your car.... if you want 6x9s do it.. lol maybe me being old but but do you really need a sub... small boot the 6x9s as long as they were decent should work quite well. or failing that as has been said decent stuff up front and the bass in the rear... but will be left with nowhere to put ya shopping... yeah i am old. lol

buy it, get a set of std steel wheels on it, re sell for £150 as a project then flog the alloys off.... seen some of the prices that some people on here have things for, you will make a killin. lol what are a set of gti alloys worth then honestly. more then £50 id say .... just factor in your time and some petrol... put the scirocco on somewhere like vzi sure it would go

too cold....im a whimp.... its one of them new fangled self adjusting ones that ive read so much nice stuff about..... can you manualy adjust em.... i guess its a matter of loosening one nut off and tightening up the other one. answered my own question by reading the first reply durrrrrrrrrr

pedal box was done before i got it.... ill give the adjuster a twist and see what happens

guess i notce it more cause i drive a 4x4 for work and thats totaly different to drive..lol

ill have a gander 2moro then.... weird cause its only when you pull away, the rest of the gears are fine. but hey ive never driven a lupo before am im used to the passats hydralic clutch

right gonna sound like a total thicko now, clutch....... cable or hydralic reason i ask is there is a load of travel on my clutch peddle and the bite point is very close to the floor, makes stalling a doddle..lol any pointers on this.. thanx in advance

ive done 200 miles today and now between 1/2 and 3/4 tank.... by reading posts that sounds good.... and ive not been gentle an its been in and around lincoln.. so a few hills also.

not my taste really but you gotta see that someone has put a lot of time and effort into it... its a pity that hes lost interest so quick.. agreed the paint is pretty ghastly but a day with a sander and a few rattle cans it would look ace. or just mask the white and blow over with black..

yeah was told it was an fsi rear.. that was one of the selling points to me.... done just under 200 miles in it today driving like a hoooooligan..... love it reminds me of my mk1 golf gti i had back in the day. nice and flickable... i know what ya mean by the moddin bug..... been into vws for about 20yrs... and had a few.... getting n old hand at this.. lol

Gonna get the front one done soon as well as it's still chrome and I think it looks pap.needs to go down about 60mm I think.

just set of coilovers i think to start with.. maybe a double din indash screen later on. wanna keep it fairly standard.... would love a set of ronal turbos on it but dont like the price tag that goes with em...
