Mitchell Posted February 19, 2006 Report Share Posted February 19, 2006 (edited) undo two bolts holding seat in place,slide back and lift out border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" />remove plastic surround, remove two spline bolts and remove seat back border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" />remove base cover and foam, these are held in place by a plastic strip that is twisted over the frame to hold in place border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" />with the base foam removed the next thing is to remove the base plate the large black section you sit in.look for little indentations where the spot welds are and drill through the top layer until the spot weld pops through. border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" />remove the front section of the base as the recaro needs to sit through this / fitting the recaro base ontop will make the seat far too high border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" />should look like this once removed border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" />take your recaro seat and strip all foams away border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" />cut off the recaro base mounts from the other model, in my case escort rs turbo. border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" />then weld the recaro base into the lupo remnants. border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" />took a day to do both seats and the way i have done it still allows for the seat hieght adjuster to work just need to be re-trimmed now. will post pics up as and when done. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shades:" border="0" alt="shades.gif" /> Edited February 19, 2006 by mitch unit 21 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
