Potsey Posted April 30, 2016 Report Share Posted April 30, 2016 Afternoon guys, well new to the world of lupos after picking up a 99 t 1.4 16v in a superb shade of lime green for the princely sum of £300. It's done 120 k and is super tidy inside and out. Got round to servicing it today, did oil and filter, plugs, cleaned out the air box and throttle body with carb cleaner as they were totally black with oil residue! Before touching it it did seem to hunt around at idle but was and still is fine under load. It does have a slight blow in the exhaust back box, could this be the culprit a it is still hunting about now. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
carrera-gt Posted April 30, 2016 Report Share Posted April 30, 2016 1st thing to do is check for fault codes, given you don't find anything, and you have cleaned the fly by wire throttle body it probably needs to be re-adapted.
