mickster
I've done one of my rear lights and have a cheapy chrome bulb I got from eBay in it, however it is so much less obvious than the one that is still tangoed.Obviously I'm not expecting it to be exactly the same in terms of orangey brightness, but I'm wondering if anyone on here has some specific bulbs they can recommend, or whether actually this is just the price you pay for a mod which really is all about form over function! mickster
Right just in case someone one day searches the forum for an answer to this question:You can make offset pin bulbs fit by filing down one of the pins. I had already purchased a pair of Osram DIADEM 581 bulbs before I realised I needed opposite pin bulbs (382), and after five minutes with a file one is now happily installed and shining brighter than the light I haven't bothered modding yet, which is great! Only issue with these bulbs is I think there is still a very very small fried egg effect - I've heard that the Philips Silver Vision bulbs might be a better option but I can't be doing with another £12 outlay...So there we go
