  1. unfortunately my renewal came through and it was quite high compared to other quotes i got. Asked about price match but apparently internet based quotes cant be matched.

Shame to leave as whenever I rang up they were helpful and easy to understand with uk based called centres! I'll try again next year.

  2. You cant work out an accurate MPG putting in a few pence at a time.

FWIW I usually get 40-45mpg from my Sport, which is about 350 miles to a tank

but i put a pound in my car the other day and did 99mpg?

i dont know how you get that sort of mpg out of a sport!! i think the most i saw was maybe 250 when i had mine, did about 35mpg

  3. tell you what piers, i like where this has gone. I was quick to jump in when you got the air fitted as i felt it has been bigged up far to much and you know we dont see eye to eye

very smart though, wheels suit it well. look forward to seeing more updates if you keep plugging away

    :ninja:

  4. I bought the one that was advertised on Autotrader and picked it up yesterday. The 'wife' was thrilled to see two Lupo's on the drive. She was slightly confused actually. My 1.4 TDI is now on Autotrader if anyone fancies a really nice TDI.

I'm on a bit of a car downsizing movement at the moment having been very happy driving the TDI. My poor BMW E39 530d Touring has been sitting outside the house pretty much unused for the last month. The Lupo really is a car that you can do miles in. It is much louder than the E39 but that's to be expected.

First impressions on the 3L, softer ride than the 1.4 TDI but not much. All feels very high tech and a little exclusive. Driving it home from the dealer in Chesham which is 25 miles from where I live the average fuel reading was 2.8 litres/100km. Which is 101 mpg, nice.

Anoyingly the V5 has it down as a Lupo S although I've email DVLA today to see how I can get that changed. Any advice welcome.

start a readers ride on it, would be nice to see lots of photos

  5. Only the fronts adjust, that is very cheap though!

normal coilovers only have a adjustersa the back though, they may not have them or they may not be photographed?

it does say though lowing approx 40mm
