What version of lupo do you own ? IMO the first things to do are : Wide wheels - the standard lupo 1ltrs come with by bicycle wheels and are unable to take corners at 5mph. Lower suspension – a decent drop of about 40mm is good with standard dampers but they will not last for ever.. so buy a full set of coils and dampers and save the hassle. Air filters and exhaust – im not so sure about air filters as there are so many on the market now Im sure someone here would recommend you one.. I personally use a k57i induction kit, its lasted ok but gets dirty very quick and hardly make any difference to your car. Sometimes its better to just leave the original one on there. The exhausts! again get a sports exhaust and squash out a few bhp and improve the fuel econ. I hope this helps and im sure there are a few critics who would disagree with some of the words above but everyone to their own 

thats the bottle in the top left corner .. does your car make a wierd squeeling noise when turning the wheel.. ? to be honest mate i dont think you have any PAS fluid thus causing you not to have " the power" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> but yeh you should have it for sure !

when you open your bonnet do you see a yellow fluid bottle ?

I had cleaner fluid with me ! and he used his own... he only sprayed it 2ce and its still mucky! but he tried to charge me 10£ for that ! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blink:" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

Check this out .... I called into a garage to see about my gear box .. while i was there i asked him about the idle on my car and because he specialized in gearboxes only he sent me to the garage next door. So off i went next door and told the guy about my idle not being right and sometimes cuting out and he cleaned my throttle body with spray ( about 2 long squirts) he then started it up and the car works fine now. He tried to charge me 10£ for this ! i gave him 6£ and said ill be back later, i aint going back there ever again.

Ok i think my throttle body needs to be cleaned or changed.. anyone know of tips or hints on this ? or where to get performance throttle bodys like twin webbers 40's or something ? thanks. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":coffee:" border="0" alt="coffee.gif" />

Ok some numb nut decided to smash my mirrors up so im going to have to get DTM mirrors for my arosa, So this is the quesiton .. Will VW LUPO base plates fit my 1998 seat aorsa? if anyone can answer this ill send them 23p in the post.

I need DTM mirrors too.. their very nice but try finding base plates for them ! SOOOO this is my question, Can you use the VW Lupo base plates for the arosa ?

if your going less that 40mm you will feck up the suspension rods and you will have oil pissing out of them, standard rods will be fine with 40mm or 35 but seriously man you need coilovers for 60mm drop or you are asking for lots of trouble.
