I've just sold my Arosa. The squeaks and Dash rattles have driven me mad. I can't take it anymore and it's had to go. Not really what I expected from my first VAG car, I'll be glad to see the back of the f***ing thing.

Yes, I get the same problem with my Arosa. It's your rear disc calipers binding very slightly. The cure is to remove the rear disc pads and slightly chamfer the top and bottom edge of the friction material. Refit the pads, but put a very light smear of copper grease on the back of the brake pads and that should cure it.

Hi, I've got a 6 disc sony changer for sale that will work with your standard lupo head unit. It has a small adapter that fits behind the head unit and allows the sony to work with the vw head unit. Exactly the same on my 16v arosa. It filled the rear footwell with blue screenwash and stained the carpets. At least I got it done on warranty.
