chrisdwalker2002
Hi all,So one piece of interior trim in my Arosa which puzzles me most, is the plain black gear knob, next to the chrome and patterned handle of the handbrake. The gear knob from the Lupo is a perfect match, can I assume it will be an easy swap? Anyone with experience on this? No intentions of buying a brand new item ... but this is what im after to fithttp://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-Lupo-Gear-Knob-1998-2006-Shift-Knob-Genuine-Brand-NEW-/271311798572?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3f2b71812cCheers! jon_273
Yes it's a straight swap, and looks so much better than the Arosa one when all the numbers wear off the top.
chrisdwalker2002
That's exactly how my arosa one looks. I assume the gator can be reused. I'm right in thinking there's a clip underneath the gator and removing this lets you get everything off?
jon_273
The Lupo ones normally come with the gaiter, although you could swap it over. There is a metal clip under the gaitor that you prise open with a screwdriver, then just pull.
