grovey
how to repair electric window on a vw lupoan idiot guide please!! Both now not working!!I have removed switches and they seem to be in good working order...no corrosion etc and they still click when you press them. The interior light dips when I do this and i understand this indicates drain on the power when the motors are labouring to work???Hopefully somebody can help.RegardsGrovey
Hazy
Maybe not the same problem as what I had, but a couple of years ago I had the same problem with my Driver's side window, switched clicked ok (and it wasn't the switch cos' I replaced it) but the window was basically jammed shut.At the finish I popped the door cards off and sprayed the runners with Liquid silicon, and after a bit of to and throwing, the worked perfectly -and still do. Sometimes whatever you wash your car with -wax etc -can add to the friction between the glass and the runner.
