Lou
i'm quite dense when it comes to this kind of stuff,Aquired a Kenwood KFC-W2502 10" sub from a family friend.looking to fit it but not sure what amp to get.looked on the back and it's 4ohms impedance and peak power 400wDoes this mean any amp i get has to be 400w or less? And i'm just looking at a 2 channel amp, is this right?obviously i have to get a wiring kit aswell, is there anything else i should be thinking about?Sorry if i'm asking obvious questions, any help appreciated. jamiea7x
tat sub seem sto be 125 watts rms, so any amp that can kick out that kinda power will be suitable.. Edited June 21, 2010 by jamiea7x
williamz
what jamie said^ and as for anything else you may need to change your headunit dependant on what it is.i needed to as had standard VW Beta one, now got VW Gamma and got an output cable off a guy on ebay, then just wiring kit and plug and play!
