JamieB
right, this is gonna be lengthy lolbasically, i want to have 'neon' lights under my footwells and front seats.i have ordered a sunbeam sound module (just think of it as a switch) which is gonna be powered from my sidelightsi want it so that when i flick the switch on, the lights come on (i)but also when i open my door, they come on (supply from interior light), even if the switch is at off.this meaning that if i was to unlock my car (the interior light comes on) my 'neons' would come oni imagine that i need some form of relay.this is a basic diagram (i think)[sidelights cable} --------- {sunbeam sound module (switch)] ----------- | |- [neons on] |[interior light (door open)] ----------------------------------------

The Dj
Right Best way to start this!!when you open the doors your want the neons on but not the side lights(if side lights are off)when you turn the side lights you want the neons onto achieve this! take positive from the side lights to a BOX take the door switch positive to a BOXthis BOX should join the 2 connections!! then to the neonson both side you want a electrical component called a diode, this allows power to flow one way but not the other!! so when the doors open the side lights dont come on but noens on and when the side lights are on the neons are on but not the door lighthope this helps mail me if u need helpchris
