si_leeds
just picked my mk1 sport up this morning, and i have to say i love it, but the clutch pedal feels a bit "gritty" when it gets right to the bottom, is this a normal thing or is the cable about to snap? VWR Lupo
They do stretch so you will need to tighten it but not to much, just do it a bit at a time and drive it to see how it feels.I have had a search but there is now "how to guide" on it, there are two nuts on the end of the cable, the first one is a lock nut so loosen that off first (both nuts are different sizes but cannot remember the sizes off the top of my head)then tighten the second one!As said do it a bit at a time and see how it feels, over tightening can make the clutch not disengage properly or snap the cable!Let us know how you get on Luke
