Is my Lupo battery needing replaced

Recommended Posts

I'm at the end of my tether now with this battery issue.

My car is driven every day and one morning i went out to start it...There was no life from it at all, apart from interior dash lights. Got a jump off of a neighbour and all was good.

After getting a jump i turned the car off 2 minutes later..Car then restarted no bother for the next weeks. Then exactly the same happened last week. I feel the battery isn't knackered as it seems to be holding decent charge for like 2 weeks. But then all of a sudden there's nothing. I've tested the battery and its showing as being healthy and holding a good charge.

Anybody got any suggestions. Is it likely that something is draining the battery while the car is turned off.

Thanks

Do you have anything in the car that is draining the battery? i.e Ipod charger, after market alarm?

Things like that can drain the battery if left on over night!

Also the cold weather can kill a battery!
