hi, well i recently got some ibiza cupra wheels to go on my tdi, im told they will fit with 195/40/16 tyres on, but obviosly on standard shocks it will look quite tall, so,

how low can i go? im thinking at just going 40mm because i dont want it silly low, as i have to drive on some pretty rough roads and dirt tracks. but also dont want it looking 4x4, lol!

any advise welcome,

thanks,

rob

Personally i think 16s dont look right on a loop/arosa cos the car is just so small. You can pick a lower profile tyre which will help but then depends on if you want coilies or springs. Ive got a 60/40 kit which aint bad

My old 16v was lowered on collies with 16s, running 195/40s. 195/40s will give approximately the same rolling circumference. It looked good and didn't rub, so if your offset is right it should be ok to deck on collies.

But if I did it again I probably wouldn't go for 16s, due to size of car and also harshness.
