  1. 1998 Seat Arosa 1.4 Auto Hi, I have a temperature issue with my newly acquired Arosa. If left to idle, the car reaches normal operating temperature, the fan kicks in normally, and the heater is nice and hot. Take the car up to speed and the temperature descends rapidly to the bottom of the temp gauge and heater no longer blows particularly hot air. It would seem that sender unit is functioning because heater behavior suggests that the engine is really cooling down. First assumption was thermostat jammed open, but we have replaced this and symptoms remain. Service history suggests temperature sender has already been replaced a month ago. Any ideas for next step?
