  1. Well a few people have said i should do a thread but i was abit unsure waether to or not due to my spelling but hay here we go and if you dont like my spelling u will have to put up with it So were do i start. I'm Nathan (franny) i brought a lupo 1.6 5 speed gti on a 51plate. I brought it on of a good man called Lee (lee dubs), it was in a fair condition, just needed few bits doing to make it mint. After having the car for four days i crashed it on a rounderbout. destroying all the wheels on one side and all the wheel assembly. This ment a new steering rack, wish bone, hub, bearing, bearing carrier, CV joint, rod ends and rods. Maybe some more but iv forgotten Also with the wheels being broken i had to sorce some wheels with tyres which i sprung some luck with as a mate (AJ) had some kawasaki green lenso BSX so he kindly let me use them. Bofore i show some pictures i just want to say a big thanks to AJ, Rob AJs mate, John and Adam R4. We had to grind at the chassie to grab the nuts on the end of the bolt that keep the chassie legs up. We need to drop this to get the steering rack out. So when i fist got it back from the crash we got the steering rack down, wish bone and did a quick fix on the bumper. Got some new tyres and was waiting for pay day After having all the work done i decided to lower it a little bit and go to top gear live which we saw a brother from another mother. Pay day came and we got a cv joint all the hub, bearing and bearing carrier. So trip to VW warrington was in order for most of part and Whiston motor factors for the CV joint. I also changed the wheels as AJ wants the lenso's back for selling. I had some ronal turbos which were in a state but i sent them to my mate Rob whos and ex squaddy. He sand blasted them and powder coated them blaack. After getting the wheels changed over i deciced to lower it evan more and do some tidying up. Also got some quotes on resprays and get my clean on and keep on top of it. So the show season came so quick and never had chance to get all the parts and get money together for respray, so got my touch up pen out and get my clean on for Ultimate DUBS After UD i decided i should pull my finger out and get my beloved GTI up to scratch for my standards. I thought as long as i like what i do to it i will be happy so i think to come is a respray, some stretch or lower profile tyres then some lower spring for the back and then maybe some new windows as the are scratched.
