No the tick tends to go quieter as the engine warms up. Or another example is when I start the car there tapping/ticking is there but if I put my foot on the acceleratoer it goes and revs nice...

Nope would have to get a garage to check it out... Been thinking of selling on for a while anyway tbh mate, so think this is the push that was needed. With the tapping/clicking from the engine aswell I think someone is trying to tell me something...

Speed and revs mate, could it be the drive shaft? as my father has a focus and the drive shaft has worn and he gets a terrible vibration all the time...

Hi guys, every so often when I drive I get a very, very slight vibration which I feel from my feet coming from the bottom front of the car, doesnt always happen but is more frequent then it used to be Can anyone help as to what this could be and more importantly anything to be worried about?

Quick update guys, the noise is actually still there... Not as loud as before but still there. It seems to go once the car has warmed up. Is this anything to worry about? if so then I may think about getting rid of her before she ends up costing me alot in repairs.. (if it comes to this)

Hope someone can help. Recently there has been a clicking noise from the engine until it slightly warms up (the engine) and then the clicking or tapping gets quieter until you can barely notice it. It reminds me of the noisy tappets I used to have on my mitsubishi fto, but surely it would be the tappets???? I have checked the oil, which is half full so topped this back up to the top. I am thinking maybe she needs a oil change? Sounds awful when I start her up from cold thou, quite upsetting as I do love my black beauty

Hi guys whats the cheapest way to lower my seat arosa? would appreciate any links u may have to bits n bobs i may need to do it. EDIT Would it be easier and maybe cheaper to replace my 13" biscuits with lets say 15" alloys?
